DIY Dingalan, Aurora - Itinerary



A new destination in the province of Aurora has been a subject of interest for many travelers and tourists, specially tours being offered by travel groups. The town of Dingalan is a third class coastal municipality that boast its beaches, waterfalls and green lush mountain backdrop. Much to the craze of travel group and travelers to offer and grab a chance to visit the place, there are many asking how to get to this place. We are glad that Albert Calvelo graciously shared to us his Do-It-Yourself  (DIY) itinerary and photos of his recent visit to the Dingalan. DIYers would definitely love to learn how to get to and around this paradise.



Day 0
0300 AM - Take the first trip to Cabanatuan from Cubao 
                   5 Star Bus – Fare Php185

Day 1
0600 AM - ETA Cabanatuan Central Transport Terminal
                   Breakfast
0700 AM - ETD Cabanatuan to Dingalan (Van) – Fare Php100
                   (note: ETD is dependent on how soon the van will be filled with passengers)
0815 AM - ETA Dingalan Town Proper
                  Take tryke to Dingalan Feeder Port (Brgy. Paltic) – Fare Php20/pax
                  Settle at accommodation
                    - (Padiernos Resort, Paltic Dingalan – 09474864025 Look for Noemi Alemania)

                 Hire tryke for the Tour - Php400
                   - all inclusive – just treat your guide/driver for snacks and lunch
                   - Places of Interest
                           - Ibona River, Laktas/Abungan Falls, Matawe Tidelands, seaside views of Brgy.                                      Matawe and Brgy. Butas na Bato, Umiray



Day 2
0430 AM - Catch sunrise at Dingalan Lighthouse and White Beach
                   Boat Tour to Lamao Caves
                   (Note:Arrange for a boat tour the day before for Php600)
                       - Tell the boatman that you will leave the port at 4:30am.
                       - The hike from White Beach to the Lighthouse takes about 20-30 minutes.
                      - They require a guide going to the lighthouse –Php100. The guides are usually kids.
                    After sunrise photo ops, hike down to the beach and start the tour to Lamao Caves.
0830 AM - Return to Feeder Port.
                  Tanawan View Deck and Tanawan Falls – around 10-15 minutes from the Feeder Port
                     - (You may hire a tryke going here)
1200 PM - Back in your accommodation. Prepare to leave.
                  Last trip of the van going to Cabanatuan City is 2pm on weekdays, and 3pm during                             weekends.

And please take note that there are no ATM in the town of Dilangan so stack up on cash.




With the photos included in the itinerary he shared, we will definitely visit this DIY style in the near future.

  1. hi sir, ung boat tour po ba fixed na sya na 600 kahit magisa lang? or may kailangan na minimum number of people para sa 600? . .

  3. Hello, kapag 2 lang kami, can we still do this iti, with the same costs? I mean, ung 600 na boat, kahit 2 lang po kami, same rate po ba? Pati yung tryke rates? Tapos how much po per night per head ung sa accommodation na nilagay niyong contact jan? Thanks po
